Principal Lawyer
I bring a common-sense, outcome oriented approach to my legal practice and enjoy the challenge that comes with finding creative solutions to tricky problems across a broad practice area.
I have appeared personally and instructed Counsel for all manner of professional and lay clientele in jurisdictions across Australia, representing plaintiffs making complex multi-million dollar commercial claims in State Supreme and Commonwealth Courts to advocating for traffic offenders in a suburban Local Court sentencing. I am comfortable fighting for my clients rights in any Australian jurisdiction.
Admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia, I hold a Bachelors degree in History and Laws, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and Advanced Certifications in Insolvency Practice from the Australian Restructuring, Insolvency and Turnaround Association (ARITA).
My firm's philosophy on client relations is an extension of my own. We meet our clients where they are, maintain an open mind, advise them the way we want to be advised and then work with them to solve the real problems in play.
I practice regularly in all manner of Insolvency related work and provide advice on the bankruptcy and liquidation process, debt recovery, commercial contracts and employer compliance with Enterprise Bargaining Agreements as well as in the preparation of loan facilitation and business transaction documentation. I also represent clientele facing serious financial offences, which often mingle with Insolvency disputes and require specialised knowledge.
Outside of my work I enjoy keeping active, being in and around the Ocean, film photography (@jighiepics) and exploring our great Nation.
